                  Standard Colors palette.

                  Word applies the selected colour to the

                  WordArt object text.




          Changing WordArt Outline

          You can change the colour, thickness, and pattern of
          the outline of a WordArt object.

          To format the outline of a WordArt object:

            1.  Select the WordArt object.                                          2

            2.  On  the  Drawing  Tools Format tab, click the  Text
                  Outline        down arrow in the WordArt Styles group.

                  A drop-down list of colour swatches appears.

            3.  Select a colour from  the Theme Colors  or
                  Standard Colors palette.

            4.  Select the  thickness for the WordArt  outline                       3
                  from the Weight option.

            5.  Select the pattern for the WordArt outline from                     4
                  the Dashes option.                                                5

                  Word applies the selected colour, thickness,
                  and  pattern  to  the  outline  of  the  WordArt

                  object.

          Applying Text Effects
          You can apply various text effects, such as shadow, reflection, glow, or 3-D rotation,
          to a WordArt object.

          To apply text effect to a WordArt object:
            1.  Select the WordArt object.                                              1

            2.  On the Drawing Tools Format tab, click Text Effects
                       down arrow in the WordArt Styles group.
                  A drop-down list appears.
