To convert existing text into a WordArt object:

1. Select the text you want to convert into a WordArt object.

2. On the Insert tab, click the WordArt button in the Text group.

The WordArt gallery appears.

3. Select the required WordArt style from the gallery.
The selected text is converted into a WordArt object.

When you click a WordArt object, it gets surrounded by a
boundary. You can use the handles around the boundary to Sizing

Formatting WordArt

When a WordArt object is inserted in a document, the Drawing Tools Format tab
appears on the Ribbon. It provides various options to change the appearance of the

WordArt object.

Changing WordArt Text Colour

To format the colour of WordArt text: 1 2

1. Select the WordArt object.

2. On the Drawing Tools Format tab,

click the Text Fill down arrow in

the WordArt Styles group.

A drop-down list of colour swatches
appears.
