Word 2019 offers a variety of graphics to enhance the overall appearance of a

document. Graphics refer to several kinds of visual objects such as WordArt text,
shapes, and pictures. Inserting objects in a document can be a great way to illustrate
important information and add decorative accents to existing text.

WORKING WITH WORDART

WordArt is a feature in Word 2019 that allows you to create stylised text. WordArt

gallery provides different text styles with special effects.

Inserting WordArt
You can insert a new WordArt object in a document or convert existing text into

WordArt. 2
To insert a new WordArt object:

1. Click the location in the document
where you want to insert a
WordArt object. 1 3

2. On the Insert tab, click the WordArt button in the Text group.
The WordArt gallery appears.

3. Click a WordArt style from the gallery.
A placeholder with the text Your text here is

inserted at the cursor position.

4. Overwrite the text with the required text. 4

5. Click anywhere outside the text placeholder.

Word inserts the text as a WordArt object.
