To set custom page margins:
1. In the Page Setup group on the Layout tab, click
the Margins button. 3
A drop-down list appears.
2. Click the Custom Margins option.
The Page Setup dialog box opens.
3. On the Margins tab, in the Margins section,
specify values for Top, Bottom, Left, and
Right margins.
4. Click the OK button.
Word applies the margin setting to the
document. 4
Page Orientation
Page Orientation is the page layout in which a document is displayed or printed.
Word offers two page orientation options:
1. Portrait orientation displays the
page vertically, and the document is
printed along its length.
2. Landscape orientation displays the
page horizontally, and the document
is printed along its width.
Portrait Landscape
By default, Word displays a document
in Portrait orientation.
To change page orientation: 1
1. On the Layout tab, in the Page Setup group,
click the Orientation button.
A drop-down list appears.
2. Select the Portrait or Landscape option.
Word displays the page according to the 2
selected orientation.
