Step 2: Now, Take compass and put one tip at the point E and mark a cut at one of its diagonal and that cut point
is represented by point F.
Now put the length of EF on the compass and set one tip at E and sketch a circle of given radius EF
around the point E.
In this way a circle (hole) is constructed with in the square and both contain the same centre.
Construction of Rectangle having Diagonals Divides Opposite Angle into 60° and 30°
Before doing this, we sketch a rough diagram of it.

A B
Now, Let’s construct this by following the steps given below:
Step 1: First of all, we draw a line AB with end Step 2: Now, with the help of protractor, draw an
points A and B and after that draw a angle of 60° at point A and extend the line
perpendicular line at B to the line segment of angle 60° towards the perpendicular line.
AB with is shown in fig. given below: This arrangement is shown in given fig. below
and where these two lines cut each other, that
point is represented by ‘C’.

Step 3: Now, draw a perpendicular line to AB at point A and this perpendicular
line also parallel to line BC. Now take the length of BC segment in
compass and mark this on the new perpendicular line at point A. D C
Now, meet the point D to C.
Here, AD = BC and AB = DC and all four angles ∠A, ∠B, ∠C
and ∠D are of 90°.
Now, in this way a rectangle having diagonals divides opposite angles 30°
into 60° and 30° have been constructed. A 60° B
