Using the Undo Command 1
• To cancel the recent most action, click the Undo
button on the Quick Access toolbar.
• To cancel a series of recent actions:
1. Click the down arrow next to Undo button 2
on the Quick Access toolbar.
A list of recent actions appears.
2. Click the action in the list up to which you want to
cancel the actions.
Excel cancels all the highlighted actions.
Using the Redo Command
• To reverse the last cancelled action, click the Redo
button on the Quick Access toolbar. 1
• To reverse a series of recently cancelled actions:
1. Click the down arrow next to Redo button
on the Quick Access toolbar.
A list of recent cancelled actions appears.
2. Click the action in the list up to which you want to
reverse the actions. 2
Excel reverses all the highlighted actions.

You cannot use the Redo command until you have cancelled an action using the Undo command.
COPYING AND MOVING CELL CONTENTS
You can copy or move the contents of a range of cells from
one location to another location in the same worksheet or 2
in a different worksheet.
To copy or move the contents of cells:
1. Select the range of cells whose contents you want to
copy or move. 1
2. On the Home tab, click the Copy button or Cut button
in the Clipboard group to copy or cut the contents.
A moving dashed outline appears around the selected
range of cells.
