EDITING CELL CONTENTS

          You can edit the contents of a cell in two ways:
             •  Overwriting the content completely          • Modifying the content partially                  2    1
          Overwriting Cell Contents
          You can replace the existing contents in a cell with completely new contents.
          To overwrite the contents of a cell completely:
            1.  Select the cell whose content you want to overwrite.
            2.  Type the new content in the cell.
                                O  R
                 Double-click in the Formula bar and type the new content.
            3.  Press the Enter key.
                 Excel overwrites the old content with the new content.

                                            Modifying Cell Contents
                                            You can edit and make partial changes to the existing content in a cell.

                                            To modify the content of a cell partially:
                                              1.  Select the cell whose content you want to modify.

                                          2    2.  Double-click inside the cell or click the Formula bar.
                                              3.  Modify the content as required.

                                              4.  Press the Enter key.                     Time Saver

          Deleting Cell Contents
          You can delete the contents of a cell or a range of cells, if not required anymore.
          To delete the contents of a cell, Select the cell or range of cells whose contents you want to delete and
          press the Delete key.
                 The contents of the selected cell or range of cells are deleted.

                You can also delete the contents of a cell by right clicking the cell and selecting the
                Clear Contents option from the context menu.


          UNDO AND REDO COMMANDS

          Excel 2019 keeps track of all the changes that you make to a worksheet. The Undo command is used to
          cancel the last action or a series of recent actions. The Redo command is used to reverse an action or a
          series of actions that were cancelled by the Undo command.
