There are a number of fonts in-built in Word 2016. In Word 2016, the default font used is

Calibri font with size 11 in black colour.

Changing the Text Size
You can change the size of text by increasing or decreasing the font size. The size of the
font is commonly expressed in points (pts).

To change the size of text:
1. Select the text for which you want to change the size.
2. Click the down arrow in the Font Size box.

A list of sizes appears.

3. Click a desired size for the text.

You can quickly increase or decrease the size of selected text by clicking the Increase Font

Size or Decrease Font Size button respectively.
