              APPLYING BULLETS AND NUMBERING

Lists are a means of providing information in an organised manner. Word 2016 lets you
create lists with bullets or numbers.
A bulleted list adds a symbol, such as a circle (•), in front of each list item. These lists

are used when the items in the list do not follow any specific order.
              A numbered list adds sequential numbers (1, 2, 3, ...) or letters (a, b, c, ...) in front of
each list item. These lists are used when the items in the list follow a specific order.
You can convert existing text into a list or create a new list from scratch.

To create a new bulleted or numbered list:
                  1. Position the cursor where you want to start the list.

                  2. On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click the down arrow next to Bullets
button for a bulleted list or Numbering button for a numbered list.
