Formatting refers to changes in the appearance and arrangement of text in a document.
It helps you place emphasis on key points in a document and highlight important text.

ways to look impressive and easier to read. Let us learn about these tools.
CHANGING APPEARANCE OF TEXT
The appearance of text is changed to bring focus on
certain parts of a document. The Font group in the
Home Tab provides various options to format the text.
Changing the Text Font
Font refers to the appearance of letters, alphabets, or characters typed.
To change the text font:
1. Select the text for which you want to change the font.
2. Click the down arrow in the Font box.
A list of fonts appears.
