To delete a word:

                  1.  Place the cursor to the left of the word you want to delete.

                  2.  Press the    Ctrl   +   Delete  key combination.
                                                                Or
                  1.  Place the cursor to the right of the word you want to delete.

                  2.  Press the    Ctrl   +   Backspace   key combination.


              To delete a selected text:
                  1.  Select the text you want to delete.
                  2.  Press either the     Delete  key or   Backspace   key.



              UNDO AND REDO COMMANDS
              The Undo command is used to reverse the last action or a series of recent actions. The

              Redo command is used to cancel the actions reversed by the Undo command.
                  1.  Press the Undo          button on the Quick Access toolbar to reverse the last action.

                  2.  Press  the  Redo           button  on  the  Quick  Time Saver
                      Access  toolbar  to  cancel  an  action  which           Undo: Ctrl + Z  Redo: Ctrl + Y
                      was reversed by the Undo command.

               Until  you  cancel  an  action  using  the  Undo  command,  the  Redo  command  acts  as  the
               Repeat        command. The Repeat command repeats the last action you did in Word.


              COPYING TEXT
              Copying  text  involves  creating  a  duplicate  copy  of  selected  text  and  using  it  in  a
              document.

              To copy text to a new location:
                  1.  Select the text you want to copy.

                  2.  On the Home tab, click the Copy              button in the Clipboard group.
