You can select text using a mouse or a keyboard.
Selecting Text Using a Mouse
The following table lists the ways to select various parts of text using a mouse.
Text to Select Mouse Action
One word Double-click the word.
Block of text Click and drag over the required text.
One sentence Press Ctrl key and click a word in the sentence.
One paragraph Triple-click anywhere inside the paragraph.

Selecting Text Using Selection Bar
The Selection bar is the space between the left edge of the page and the left text
margin. When you move the mouse pointer in the Selection bar, it changes to an arrow
pointing towards the right. The mouse can be used to select text through the Selection
bar.
