Formatting a Range of Cells as Labels
When a cell is formatted as text, Calc will treat the cell value as a text string, even if you input a number or date.
By default, the Calc text format aligns values left in a cell.
To format a range of cells as text:
Step 1: Select the text which is to be formatted.
Step 2: Click on Format menu and select Cells option. The Format Cells dialog box appears with the Number
tab selected in it.
