Aligning Cell Contents Using the Dialog Box
We know that the values entered in a cell have their default alignments as the text is aligned to the left and
numbers are right aligned by default. But a value in the cell can be aligned to left, right, center or justifi ed.
Calc also allows to align the cell values vertically as top, bottom, or center if the row height is more than the text
size.
To change the horizontal or vertical alignment:
Step 1: Select the range of cells whose alignment is to be changed.
Step 2: Click on Format menu and select Cells option. The Format Cells dialog box appear with Number tab
selected in it.
