v Financial and Accounting Services: BPOs offer fi nancial and accounting services such as bookkeeping,
payroll processing, payable and receivables accounts management, bank reconciliation and fi nancial
reporting. There might be fewer services available depending on organisation’s choice of a BPO as well as
their specifi c needs.
v Taxation and Insurance Services: BPOs offer taxation services including tax preparation and returns fi ling
on their list. Insurance BPO is the process in which insurance companies outsource some back offi ce tasks
such as data entry, bookkeeping and accounting to third party service providers like BPO companies.
v E-Publishing and Web Promotion: E-publishing is the process of publishing information to be viewed in
electronic format or online. Such information is delivered via electronic books (or eBooks), or over the Internet.
BPO services address the needs of the e-publishing industry and help Publishers to get their products into
the market quickly, in print media, electronic media or in web media. Web promotion is a combination of
many different topics. The content of web sites must be written for two different audiences: the individual

v Legal Services and Content Writing: Legal outsourcing, also known as Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO),
refers to the practice of a law fi rm or corporation obtaining legal support services from an outside law fi rm
or legal support services company. LPOs provide a wide range of content writing services like translation
services, editing services, copy writing services, etc.
v Multimedia and Design Services: Multimedia is a collection of various media types such as video, sound,
graphics, animation and text to form a custom designed, interactive and graphical program. These programs
are used to promote products or services to potential clients through outsourced BPOs.
v Document Management Services: Document Management Services include document storage digitization,
imaging, indexing, and archiving services that are essential for ensuring that information can be stored
safely and retrieved quickly, when required. However, most businesses and organizations are constrained
by factors such as budget, limited number of staff and limited technology from investing in document
management services. BPOs provide cost-effective and fl exible automated document management services
for their clients.
v Software Testing Services: In today’s technology-driven business environment, software applications
and products need to satisfy critical checkpoints, such as ease of installation, performance, compatibility,
recovery after a failure, resource consumption, portability, security and reliability. BPOs test their client’s
software product or application through a rigorous, unbiased testing process, so that they can be confi dent
of its caliber and performance.
v Health Care Services: Healthcare providers face many challenges in their industry and their work can often
hindered by the administrative element of the profession. BPO service providers offer customised solutions
to help remove the complexity of these tedious tasks.
