Work in pairs. Introduce yourself to your partner using the personal pronouns for the
fi rst and second persons. A� er you have introduced yourselves, talk about a common

friend using the personal pronouns for the third person.

The teacher will go to two students and ask them to pull two pieces of paper. Then he/
she will ask the pair of students to begin talking to each other, using the two pronouns
which are wri� en on the paper.

For example: Suppose they select the two pronouns me and those.
