B. Read the given passage carefully.
Penguins are a distinctive group of flightless birds, which inhabit the southern hemisphere.
They have a streamlined bullet-like body shape and wings that seem to have been designed
to serve as flippers. Penguins’ walk looks peculiar and amusing, but underwater, they swim
gracefully. Penguins need to clean their feathers regularly with a waxy secretion to keep
themselves waterproof. They have a thick layer of blubber which keeps them warm. Their
short, webbed feet are set far back to act as a rudder when in water.
The tuxedo-like colouration of penguins helps to make them less visible when inside water.
When viewed from below, their white bellies blend in with the bright sea surface. When
viewed from above, their black backs blend in with the dark sea.
