Dear Sir,
Commuting has become a nightmare for Delhiites these days. The number of vehicles on
Delhi roads has increased five times in the past two years and even the widest of Delhi
roads seem narrow. The frequency of traffic jams has increased manifold and they can
never expect to reach their destination on time unless they have kept a buffer of at least
an hour. It would do all of us a lot of good if car owners decided to form a car pool. Those
who do not have enough co-passengers to form a car pool can use a local bus service for
at least the five working days. A little cooperation from everybody would make Delhi a
better place to live in.
I sincerely hope your magazine can contribute in some way to help us solve this problem
by drawing the attention of the general public towards this issue.
Your faithfully,
Radhika Singh
