columns. Chinki needs to make 8 rakhis. Each rakhi uses 3 fl owers,

Now read the paragraph carefully and answer the following questions.
1. How many cars can be parked in the parking?

A C T I V I T Y T I M E
Objective: To enhance skills and accuracy for multiplication of 3-digit numbers.
Materials Required: Chits with numbers 100 to 999 writt en on them, bowls and dice.
Procedure:
1. This activity will be done in groups of 5 to 6 students.
2. Each group will be given a bowl full of chits and one dice.
3. One student of a group will draw a chit and call out the number on chit, say 247.
4. Then another student of the same group will throw dice and call out the number on
the dice, say 3.
5. All the students in the group will work out the multiplication to fi nd the product of
247 × 3.
6. This activity will be carried out by all the groups.
