To search for information on a topic:

1. Open a web browser. We have used Microsoft Edge in the example.
2. In the address box, type www.google.co.in to open the Google search engine
web page.
3. In the Search box, enter a word or phrase for which you wish to search for. For

example, ‘Types of Computers’.

The search engine displays the search results in the form of images, text, or

hyperlinks.

Email
An Email or Electronic mail is a message sent from one computer

to another through a network. It may contain text, graphics, audio,
video, or other files as attachments.
To send or receive an email over the Internet, you need to create an
email account on one of the several email service providers. Some
popular email service providers are Gmail (www.mail.google.com),

Yahoo!Mail (www.in.mail.yahoo.com), and Outlook.com (www.outlook.live.com).
An email address consists of a username followed by the @ sign, and the name of the
email service provider. For example,

MyEmailAccount123@gmail.com
username email service provider

Once an email account is created, you can log in into your account through your email
id and password. After you log in, you can send and receive email.
