3. Select the required WordArt style from the gallery.
The selected text is converted into a WordArt object.

Formatting WordArt

When a WordArt object is inserted in a document, the Shape Format tab appears on the

Ribbon. It provides various options to change the appearance of the WordArt object.

Changing WordArt Text Colour 1 2

To format the colour of WordArt text:

1. Select the WordArt object.

2. On the Shape Format tab, click the

Text Fill down arrow in the
WordArt Styles group.

3. Select a colour from the Theme Colors or

Standard Colors palette.

Word applies the selected colour to the WordArt
object text.

Changing WordArt Outline

You can change the colour, thickness, and pattern of
the outline of a WordArt object.

To format the outline of a WordArt object:

1. Select the WordArt object. 1

2. On the Shape Format tab, click the Text Outline
down arrow in the WordArt Styles group.
