Word 2016 offers a variety of graphics to enhance the overall appearance of a document.
Graphics refer to several kinds of visual objects such as WordArt text, shapes, and
pictures. Inserting objects in a document can be a great way to illustrate important
information and add decorative accents to existing text.
WORKING WITH WORDART
WordArt is a feature in Word 2016 that allows you to create stylised text.
Inserting WordArt
You can insert a new WordArt object in a document or convert existing text into WordArt.
To insert a new WordArt object:
1. Click the location in the document 2
where you want to insert a WordArt
object.
2. On the Insert tab, click the WordArt 1
button in the Text group. 3
The WordArt gallery appears.
3. Click a WordArt style from the gallery.
A placeholder with the text Your text here is
inserted at the cursor position.

4. Overwrite the text with the required text.
5. Click anywhere outside the text placeholder.
Word inserts the text as a WordArt object.
To convert existing text into a WordArt object:
1. Select the text you want to convert into a WordArt object.
2. On the Insert tab, click the WordArt button in the Text group.
