Modifying a Document
        Various text editing operations like deleting, copying, moving, etc. can be performed in a Writer document to
        modify the document as desired.

        Deleting Text
        The Backspace and Delete keys are used to delete text.
        Deleting a Character

        Place the cursor to the right of the character to delete and press the Backspace key.
                                                             Or
        Place the cursor to the left of the character to delete and press the Delete key.
        Deleting a Word
        Place the cursor to the right of the word to delete and press Ctrl + Backspace key.
                                                             Or
        Place the cursor to the left of the word to delete and press Ctrl + Delete key.
        Deleting a Block of Text
        Select the text to be erased and press Backspace key or Delete key.

        Undo and Redo

        Undo is used to cancel a command given earlier, whereas Redo is used to reverse the action of Undo.






        v To undo an action, click on Undo button on the Standard toolbar.

        Moving and Copying Text

        The three commands–Cut, Copy, and Paste are some of the most used commands in Writer.  These commands
        let us easily move text and images inside a document and there are several ways to apply them.








        Copying Text
        Copying text means to create a duplicate copy of the selected text. It is done using the Copy and Paste commands.
        Step 1:  Select the text you want to copy.
        Step 2:  Click on Copy in the Edit menu.
