If some new changes are made after you saved the document, Writer prompts you to save the document using
three options:
• Save: To save the document before closing.
• Don’t save: To close the document without saving the current changes.

• Cancel: To return back to the edit mode without saving or discarding.

Step 2: Click the appropriate option as needed. The document will close.

Exiting LibreOffice Writer
To exit the LibreOffi ce Writer application:
Step 1: Click on the File menu and choose Exit LibreOffi ce option. If you have not saved the document, it will
prompt you to save your document with three options:
• Save: To save the document before closing.
• Don’t save: To close the document without saving the current changes.

• Cancel: To return back to the edit mode without saving or discarding.
Step 2: Click the required button.
