Step 1: Move the mouse pointer over any of the resize handles. The mouse pointer changes its shape from
( ) to ( ).

Step 2: Now, click on any resize handle and drag the mouse carefully to resize the image to the required size.

Deleting an Image
Select the image and press the Delete key to delete it.

Creating Drawing Objects
Writer provides ready-made shapes that can be used in a document. We can
format the shape and even write text in it.
There are seven categories of Shapes—
v Line v Stars and
v Basic Shapes Banners
v Block Arrows v Callouts

v Symbol Shapes v Flowcharts
To insert a shape in a document:
Step 1: Click on Insert menu.
Step 2: Click on Shape and choose a category.
Step 3: Choose a shape from the submenu and click on it.

Step 4: Drag or draw in the Document area to draw the shape.
