          A conjunction is a word that joins words, phrases or sentences.

          There are three types of conjunctions.

          Coordinating Conjunctions

          Coordinating conjunctions  are used to link or join two words or phrases or sentences of equal
          importance. They do not depend on each other. They include: for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so, i.e. FANBOYS.
          We use for to show a reason or purpose.

               l   I go to the library. I love to read.
               l    I go to the library, for I love to read.

          We use and to join two sentences.
               l   I had lunch with Julie. I had lunch with Veena.

               l   I had lunch with Julie and Veena.
          We use nor to join two negative ideas.

                  He is not a friend. He is not an enemy.
               l
               l    He is not a friend nor an enemy.
