Negative Sentence


          To make negative sentences in simple present tense, we use does not with singular

          subjects and do not with plural subjects.

          Read the given sentences.

            1.  She does not walk every day.


            2.  They do not play regularly.

          We use the root form of the verb with does not.


          Read again the given sentence.


          She does not walk every day.  (NOT:  She does not walks every day.)


          Interrogative Sentence


          To make interrogative sentences in simple present tense, we use does with singular

          subjects and do with plural subjects in the beginning of sentences.

          Read the given sentences.


            1.  Does she walk every day?

            2.  Do they play regularly?
