1. A tank has a capacity of 1500 L. If there is 950 L 275 mL of water in
the tank, how much more water is needed to fill it up completely?
2. Shivani had 47 L 175 mL of oil. She used 25 L 50 mL in her
restaurant. How much oil was left with her?
3. A shopkeeper purchased 159 L of juice. He sold 93 L
255 mL of it. How much juice is left with him now?
4. A gardener used 27 L 350 mL of water to irrigate the garden
on Monday and used 30 L 235 mL of water on Tuesday. How
much water was used in total for two days?
5. There was 83 L 175 mL of water in the tank. If 17 L 293 mL more water can be added
in the tank, find the capacity of the tank.
6. A new tank was installed on a petrol station. It has a capacity of 1000 L. A tank
poured 235 L 750 mL of petrol into it. How much more petrol can the new tank hold?
