1. Multiply the following.

3. If the cost of 10 kg of potato is ` 130.20. Find the cost of 1 kg of potato.
4. If the cost of a ball is ` 28.40, then what will be the cost of 5 such balls?
5. If 8 children went to see the book fair and spent ` 480 to buy the tickets. How much did
one ticket cost?
6. The cost of one pen is ` 21.75. Deepa bought 3 such pens and gave the shopkeeper a
50-rupee note. What more amount would she have to pay to the shopkeeper?
7. Mr. Singh bought 17 pairs of socks. If one pair costs ` 35.70, find the price of
17 pairs.
8. The cost of 5 tickets from one station to another in a railway journey is ` 625.50. Find the
cost of 1 ticket.
Bill of Purchase
You must have seen the bills which we get from the shopkeepers after making purchases.
A bill generally contains names of the commodities purchased and the price for each commodity.
For example, Aditya makes following purchase:
1 soap for ` 17.75, 2 pens each costing ` 10, 3 notebooks each costing ` 8.
Make a bill for the above purchases.
