Component Description
Displays the name of the current presentation and contains the
Title Bar
Control buttons.
Quick Access
Toolbar Contains buttons for frequently used commands.
Ribbon Provides commands for various tasks, divided into Tabs and Groups.
Opens the Backstage view and provides commands to work with
File Tab
presentations.
Slides Pane Displays thumbnails of all slides in a presentation.
Slide Pane Displays one slide at a time to work on it.
Status Bar Provides information about the current presentation.
INSERTING TEXT IN A SLIDE
1. Click the text placeholder where you
want to insert text.
The text placeholder gets selected with
the cursor blinking inside it.
2. Type the required text.
3. Click anywhere outside the placeholder
to insert the text in the slide.
