4. Use the ruler to divide the interior space into rooms. Also, mark spaces for balconies, store rooms
and parking places (If any).
5. Once your room outline is done, now add doors and windows wherever you fill appropriate.
[Note: Teachers should guide students, the usage of windows to provide light and views.]
6. Now, comes the fun part i.e. deciding furniture and items. Children to show furniture, you can draw
simple rectangles to represent furniture such as beds, tables, and chairs etc.
A sample layout of a two bedroom apartment is shown below.

Now, you have to create the floor plan of your ‘Dream Smart Home’ including smart gadgets and
smart devices that makes your home unique.
