Types Based on Capabilities
On the basis of capabilities, there are three types of artificial intelligence.

u Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI): The ANI type focuses on doing specific tasks well, such as voice
recognition or playing chess. Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI) is designed for specific tasks or domains and
lacks general cognitive abilities. It excels in particular areas like language translation or image recognition
but cannot generalise knowledge.
