u Gesture Recognition: Interpreting human gestures and movements through computer vision. Example:
Controlling a computer by waving hands in front of a camera.

u OCR (Optical Character Recognition): Extracting text information from images or documents. Example:
Converting a scanned document into editable text.

u Augmented Reality (AR): Overlapping digital information on the real-world view through computer vision.
Example: Using AR to display information about landmarks when viewing them through a smartphone
             camera.

              Kno
Eric, the first humanoid robot, delivered a speech at the annual exhibition of the Model Engineers
          Society in London.

Deep Blue was the first AI robot, made in 1996. It was a chess-playing computer expert which won its
first game match against a World Champion, Garry Kasparor on 10 February 1996.

        ADVANTAGES OF AI

Artificial Intelligence is beneficial to humans in many ways. The advantages of AI are:

u Helps to Solve Problems: AI can help to solve problems by looking at a lot of information really fast. For
example, it can help doctors to find better treatments for diseases or help scientists to analyse data for
             better understanding the environment.

u Makes Life Easier: AI is in many things we use every day, such as phones, video games, and even some toys.
It helps them work better and do cool things like recognising your voice or suggesting movies you might like.

u Works 24/7: Unlike humans, AI doesn’t need breaks. It can work all the time without getting tired, which
helps in jobs like customer service or monitoring systems to keep them safe.

u Learns and Improves: AI can learn from the tasks it does. The more it works, the better it gets at its job. This
helps in making predictions, like what you might want to watch or buy.

u Automation: It helps in doing repetitive tasks, freeing up time for humans to focus on more creative or
complex things. For example, in factories, AI can help assemble things quickly and accurately.

u Safety and Security: AI can help make things safer by spotting potential dangers, like in self-driving cars that
can avoid accidents by sensing the road and other cars around them.

u Human Error Reduction: As artificial intelligence uses previously gathered information using a set of
algorithms, there are less or almost nil chances of errors. This provides increase in the accuracy and many
             human-made errors can be avoided.

u Effective Communication: We have gone through those times, where a human translator helps one human
to understand and communicate with the other human, despite they both don’t know and speak the same
language. But now, with the help of AI-enabled system, the communication gets effective and efficient
without the need of any human translator.

        DISADVANTAGES OF AI

Artificial intelligent systems are made up of several components which are complex in nature. Due to the
complexity level, some disadvantages of AI are as follows:

                                                                                                              17
                                                                                                              17
