Let’s Understand


            A fitness  technique  is  one  that  combines

            concentration, regulated breathing, and movement
            to help the body and mind unwind.


            Consider this example: When you come back from
            school, you go out to play with your friends for some

            time. After playing for a while, how do your body and

            mind feel? Do you feel energised? Do you feel fresh?
            When you sit down to study after that, do you think

            you can concentrate well? Do you think you are able

            to study better when you feel fresh?

            Our mind, along with our body, also needs some

            form of exercise to feel energised. A drowsy feeling can affect your lifestyle
            and you may end up feeling empty in your mind because your concentration

            span has been out of focus.

            As you age, regular exercise increases the quality of life and the ability to

            enjoy  things.  It can enhance  cognitive  functioning  and lower  the risk of

            developing problems like Alzheimer’s (a brain disorder that causes memory
            loss). Exercise can also aid in reducing falls and related injuries.

                                            The Secret to Good Health


              Meghna was on her way to school one day. She was feeling very tired in

              her body and her mind.

              When she reached her school, her friends saw her and came running to

              her.

              “Good morning, Meghna!” Sakshi said cheerfully.

              “Mornin...” Meghna replied dully.
