1. Varsha has deleted some important documents from her computer by mistake. She does not know
how to get back the deleted documents. Help her get back the deleted documents.
2. Chandan wants to arrange music files, movies files, and documents in his computer in separate
folders. He has created the folders but does not know how to move the files in them. Help him
organise the files in the folders.
Lab Work Computational Skills
• Create a folder with the name ‘My Work’.
• Create two subfolders in the My Work folder with the names ‘School Work’ and ‘Home Work’.
• Create a text file in the School Work folder. Name it ‘mytextfile’.
• Create another text file in the School Work folder. Name it ‘myhomework’.
• Open the mytextfile. Type some text in the file and save it.
• Move the myhomework file to the Home Work folder.
• Rename the myhomework file to ‘myhometext’.
• Delete the myhometext file.
• Restore the deleted file from the Recycle Bin.
• Rename the Home Work folder to ‘Assignments’.
(Let the teacher guide the students about the location in the computer for the lab work.)
