To change the folder view:                                            2
            1.  Open  the  folder  containing  the
                files for which you want to change
                view.
            2.  On the View tab, from the Layout
                group, select the view you want to
                use –
                 Extra  large  icons,  Large  icons,
                Medium  icons,  Small  icons,  List,
                Details, Tiles, and Contents.
                 The File Explorer changes the file
                view.

                   Preview Pane is an existing feature in the File Explorer  window
                   which  allows  you  to  see  a  preview  of  the  file’s  contents.
                   By default, this view is not turned on. To turn on the Preview Pane,
                   on the View tab, click the Preview Pane button in the Panes group.
                   The  Preview  Pane  opens  on  the  right  side  of  the  File  Explorer
                   window.  When  you  select  a  file,  the  Preview  Pane  displays  a
                   preview of its contents.

              A File is a collection of data that has named and stored on a storage device.

              Filename extensions help Windows to understand what kind of information is in a file and
                which program will open it.
              Folder is a container that contains other folders or files and helps to organise them.

              File Explorer is a program that enables you to work with files and folders on your computer.

              The Navigation Pane displays the various drives and devices connected to a computer in form
                of folders.

              The Contents Pane displays the contents of a folder or a drive that has been selected in the
                Navigation pane.
              A deleted file can be restored back, to its original location, from the Recycle Bin.

              The view of the Contents pane can be changed to see the icons in different sizes or details of
                files.
