CREATING A COMBO CHART 2
To create a combo chart:
1. Select the data you want to visualize in a 3
combo chart.
2. On the Insert tab, click the Insert Combo
Chart button in the Charts group. 1
A gallery of combo charts appears.
3. Click the type of combo chart you want to
create.
Excel inserts the selected combo chart in the worksheet.
ADDING CHART ELEMENTS 1
A chart usually has some chart elements in it. You
can add other chart elements as desired.
To add a chart element :
1. On the Chart Design tab, click the Add Chart
Element down arrow in the Chart Layouts
group.
A drop-down menu appears.

2. To add an element, click the element from the menu and
select the desired option from the sub-menu that appears.
Excel adds the chart element as per the selected options.
When you select a chart, buttons appear on its right side. These buttons are –
• Chart Elements button: It provides options to add, remove, or modify chart elements.
• Chart Styles button: It provides options to set the style and colour scheme for the chart.
• Chart Filters button: It provides options to select the data points, the series, and the
categories you want to display in the chart.
The chart filter button is not present for all chart types.
