USING IMMERSIVE READER VIEW

Microsoft Edge allows you to read web pages without any distractions. It removes
unnecessary elements, such as banners, advertisements, and other pop-ups from a

web page and allow you to read an article clearly.
To view a web page in Immersive Reader:

1. Open a web page.
2. Click the Immersive Reader button in the address bar.

The web page reappears without any unnecessary page elements.

3. Click the Immersive Reader button again to return to the normal view of the

web page.

USING WEB CAPTURE TOOL
The Web Capture tool in Edge allows you to take screenshots of a webpage. You can

use it to take screenshots of sections of a page or the entire page itself. You can also use
the tool to annotate your screenshot with comments or highlights.

To use the web capture tool: 2 1
1. Click the Settings and more button.

2. In the menu that appears, select the Web capture
option.

The Web capture options are displayed. The pointer
changes to selection (+) pointer.

3. Select:
• the Capture area option to take the screenshot of a

selected area of the web page.
• the Capture full page option to take the screenshot of the entire page as

displayed in the Edge window.
