Starting Microsoft Edge

To start Microsoft Edge: 2

1. Click the Start button.

The Start menu appears.

2. In the list of programs, click Microsoft Edge.

Tabs
Microsoft Edge allows you to open multiple web pages in the same window. Each web
page opens in a Tab. The tabs for different web pages are present at the top of the Edge

window. By default, the Start page opens in the Start tab.

New Tab Button
The New Tab button is present next to the last open tab. It is used to open a new tab
in the same browser window.

Control Buttons

The Control buttons, present on the top right corner of the Edge window, contain the
Minimize , Maximize and Close buttons.

Navigation Buttons

The Navigation buttons are present below the tabs. The Edge window has three
Navigation buttons – Back, Forward, and Refresh.
