CHANGING COSTUME OF A SPRITE
A Costume is a specific appearance for a sprite. The Costumes tab displays all the
costumes for the selected sprite. By default, a sprite uses only one costume. You can
create animation in a project by changing the costumes of a sprite
quickly.
To view the costumes for a sprite:
1. Select the sprite in the Sprites Info pane.
2. Click the Costumes tab.
All the costumes for the sprite are displayed.
Adding a New Costume
The Costumes tab provides options to add new costumes for a sprite.
To add a new costume for a sprite:
1. Move the mouse over the Choose a Costume button in the Costumes tab.
A list of options pops up.

2. Click the Choose a Costume option.
The Costume Library opens.
3. Select the costume you want to use.
The selected costume is displayed on the Stage and added to the costumes list.
Deleting a Costume
You can delete a costume for a sprite when it is not required. 3
To delete a costume for a sprite:
1. Select the sprite in the Sprites Info pane.
2. Click the Costumes tab.
3. Click the Delete button on the thumbnail of the costume which you want to
delete.
Mind Fog
Every sprite present on the Stage must have a costume available for it in the Costumes pane.
Thus, to remove all the costumes for a sprite, you need to remove the sprite from the Stage.
