Mohit is saving some files and folders on the computer. But now he needs to access these files and
folders quickly from the Desktop. Suggest him any two ways to do this task?

Removing Temporary Files from the Computer
An operating system creates several files for its use too. These files include log files, error reports, installation
reports, temporary Internet files, and other miscellaneous files. Over a period of time, these files also take up a
large amount of disk space. Thus, these files need to be cleaned up for freeing disk space.
The steps to clean up temporary files in Windows are:

Step 1: Click the Start button.
Step 2: In the Search box on the taskbar, type Disk Cleanup, and select Disk Cleanup from the list of results.
Step 3: Select the drive you want to clean up, and then click the OK button.
Step 4: Under Files to delete, check mark the file types to get rid of. To get a description of the file type, select
                 it.
Step 5: Click the OK button.

        Removing Files of Temp Folder

The Temp folder is used to store various temporary files created by the computer. To delete files from the Temp
        folder:

Step 1: Press Windows key + R on the keyboard. The Run dialog box opens.
Step 2: In the Open text box, type %temp% and click on OK button.

                 The Temp folder opens.

                                                                                                             71
