• Date: Only changes made in a certain time range are displayed.
• Author: Only changes made by a specific author are displayed. This is especially useful if you have
multiple reviewers on the worksheet.
• Range: Only changes made in a specific range of cells are displayed. This is especially useful if you
have a large spreadsheet and only want to review a part of it.
• Comment: Searches the content of the comments and only displays changes which have comments
that match the search criteria.
• Show accepted changes – Only changes you accepted are displayed.
• Show rejected changes – Only changes you rejected are displayed.
To Accept or Reject Changes
When you receive a worksheet back with changes, you can compare your original data with the reviewers’
changed data. Then, accept or reject their changes, and turn off Track Changes to finalise the document.
To start the process:
Step 1: Open the shared spreadsheet, select Edit menu, click on Track Changes, and select the Manage option.
The Manage Changes dialog box will open. All the changes made which fit the set criteria are listed.
Step 2: Accept or reject each change as required.
When there are multiple changes to same cell, you can select which value or change you want to accept
for that cell.
