Creating the Reference with the Mouse

        Let us look at the following example. The two worksheet named as ‘Price’ and ‘Monthly’ are given here. Now,
        we wish to enter the cost from the source sheet ‘Price’ into the destination sheet ‘Monthly’.
        Step 1:  Open the sheets (Price and Monthly) at the same time  that you wish to link with each other. You can
                 link the workbook by inserting formula in one workbook which refers to a cell or cell range in another
                 workbook.

        Step 2:  Type = in the C2 cell of the Monthly Worksheet.
        Step 3:  Type the name of the worksheet followed by dot mark (.) & click on cell B2 (where the Quantity is) in
                 the Price worksheet.
        Step 4:  Type asterisk (*) and click on cell B2 in the Monthly worksheet.






















        Step 5:  Press the Enter key. Calc will calculate the final cost by multiplying the quantity and the price.
