Let’s Learn Nouns
A noun is a word used to name a person, place, animal or thing.
Nouns can either be countable or uncountable.
Countable nouns can be counted. They have singular and plural forms. In the plural form,
they can be preceded by a number or article the. In singular, they can be preceded by the
articles a or an. They are also called count nouns.
For example: book, horse, shop, house, etc.
Uncountable nouns cannot be counted. They refer to substances, liquids, and abstract ideas.
They are also called mass nouns.
For example: wood, milk, air, happiness, etc.
