Let’s Learn Position of Adverbs
Adverbs take different positions in a sentence.
Generally, adverbs are placed after verbs. For example:
He ran fast. They went slowly.

Sometimes, they are placed after objects. For example:
She shut the box quietly. He patted the child tenderly.

Sometimes, they are placed before verbs. For example:
We usually take the other route. Kitty is always late for class.
