Activity Time
Form four groups. Each group will draw or paste a picture on a chart paper and write
about it in four sentences, each of a different kind—assertive, imperative, interrogative
and exclamatory. Display the charts in the class. Each group has to identify the kind of
sentences in each chart paper.
Listening & Speaking Time
The teacher will write on four pieces of paper—declarative, interrogative, imperative
one slip. Each student will speak a sentence based on his/her slip.
Student A : Which class are you in?
Student B : I am in Class 5.
