Declarative sentence Interrogative sentence
Imperative sentence Exclamatory sentence
The Sentence A simple statement is called a declarative sentence. It states or declares a fact.
Declarative Sentence
A declarative sentence may be positive or negative.
Read the following sentences.

I go to my school.
O Rohan is a student.
The earth moves around the sun.
O
To change positive sentences into negative, we add not, never, no or none.
