¾      To make a negative sentence, we add did not (didn’t) before the root form of a verb.

                 of a verb.

                    • Did Arun travel by train?

          For most regular verbs, the simple past is formed by adding -d, -ed or -ied. For irregular verbs,
          the form changes entirely.
          Here is a list of some regular and irregular verbs.

          Simple Future Tense

          The simple future tense is used:

          ¾      to describe an action in the future.

          ¾      to make a prediction or to give a warning.

                    • I am sure it will rain heavily tonight.

          ¾      to make a spontaneous decision.
