An adverb is a word that adds something to the meaning of a verb, an adjective and
another adverb.

In other words, an adverb describes some features of actions and happenings that

verbs express. Apart from this, they are used as question words and relative words.

Adverbs are used to qualify verbs.

The hare ran fast.

Adverbs are used to qualify adjectives.

I am extremely sorry for my mistake.

Adverbs are used to qualify other adverbs.
