          An abstract noun is the name given to an abstract thing.

          are used to denote a group of things. That is why it is called a common noun.

          A proper noun is a particular name given to a noun.

          Each of the given words names materials used to make different things. Such names

          (nouns) are material nouns.

          A material noun is the name of a substance (material) of which things are made.
